About Our Peoples Foundation (OPF)
OPF is a First Nations led not-for-profit supporting community controlled cultural knowledge, language renewal, and creative expression. We design programs, facilitate cultural practise and build archives that empower Aboriginal Peoples to carry culture forward on their terms.


Cultural Documentation and Storytelling
*Recording First Nations languages, histories and cultural practices
*Producing film, photography, podcasts, and multimedia archivesIn the studio and on country, we work with Elders, artists, and young people to record language, create music, and produce films that capture and share living cultural knowledge.
Community Led Cultural Projects
*Facilitating on-Country projects like cultural burns, land care and cultural practice revitalisation
*Supporting Elders and community members to lead and share cultural knowledgeOn Narangga Country, we are working with Elders and community to document and share traditional cultural burning practices — restoring ancient knowledge that cares for land, people, and future generations.


Augmented Reality (AR) and New Technologies
*Developing Augmented Reality (AR) experiences that connect stories, Country and technology
*Using digital tools to share cultural knowledge in innovative and accessible waysWe create immersive AR experiences, mixed media films and digital archives that honour and extend the reach of First Nations cultural knowledge, blending ancient stories with modern technologies.
Youth and Education
*Workshops in digital storytelling, music production, visual arts and filmmaking
*Mentorship programs to build leadership, confidence and creative skillsThrough digital storytelling workshops, music production, visual arts, and film projects, we work with young leaders to connect with culture, develop creative skills, and amplify their voices.
